Application
Impression Blocks are designed to enable the operator to determine the configuration of the top of the fish and to locate its position in the well bore. Its use enables the operator to more precisely assess the fishing conditions and select the proper tool or tools needed to successfully complete the fishing operation.

Construction
The tool consists of a soft lead insert in the lower end of a steel housing. After the Block contacts the upper end of the fish, the weight of the string is further lowered straight down (never rotate) against the fish which indents into the soft lead lower end of the Block. When the fishing string is withdrawn from the well, the impression in the lead will reveal the condition of the fish.

Назначение
Предназначена для определения положения инструмента или оборудования в колонне труб, а также определения дефектов колонны при проведении ремонтно-восстановительных работ в нефтяных, газовых и геологоразведочных скважинах.

Конструкция
Состоит из корпуса, залитого свинцом. Форма заливки печати - конусная.В верхней части корпуса выполнена присоединительная резьба для соединения с колонной. В печати выполнен центральный промывочный канал для прохода промывочной жидкости.
Печать присоединяется к колонне труб и спускается в скважину. Пластичность свинца дает возможность получить отпечаток повреждения колонны.
