CROSS-OVER SUBS
Application
Crossover Subs provide safe connection between joints of different sizes or types of drilling, tubing, or washover string sections having different end connections. Crossover subs may be used when it is necessary to have frequent disconnection points.
Construction
Crossover Subs are machined from high grade, heat-treated alloy steel for maximum strength and durability, and threaded to customer specifications. A crossover sub can be a combination of a box section up with a pin section down, a box section up with tool joint connection down, or pin sections up and down.
